CNC Turning & Milling
Precision turning of brass, stainless and tool steel up to Ø160 mm; CNC milling for sealing-jaw bodies and connector flanges.
- Live-tool sub-spindle for done-in-one connector bodies
- VMC milling for sealing-jaw bodies and blade brackets
- Tolerance band IT7 routinely; IT6 with grinding

Wire EDM
Wire-cut EDM for blade tooth profiles, tear-notch dies and intricate punch shapes — accuracy down to ±10 µm.
- 0.25 mm and 0.30 mm brass wire on Sodick / Mitsubishi clones
- Cuts hardened tool steel (D2, M2, HSS, A2) without de-tempering
- Profile accuracy ±10 µm, surface Ra 0.8–1.2
- 4-pass finishing routine for tear-notch dies

Heat Treatment & Vacuum Hardening
In-house vacuum hardening for D2, M2, HSS and A2 blade substrates. HRC 58–64 range, distortion-controlled.
- Vacuum quench — minimal distortion on long thin blades
- D2 to HRC 58–60 routinely; M2 / HSS to HRC 62–64
- Cryo-treat option for high-cycle slitter blades
- Hardness checked Rockwell-C on every batch, certificate available

Blade Grinding & Edge Sharpening
Surface and profile grinding for blade edges. Single-bevel, double-bevel and chamfered profiles to Ra 0.4.
- Surface grinding for flatness on sealing dies and shear blades
- Profile (form) grinding for slitter blade edge angles
- Edge angle range 15° – 45°, customer-spec
- Surface roughness Ra 0.4–1.6 routinely

Coating & Plating
TiN / TiAlN coating for blades; silver, nickel and gold-flash plating for RF connectors. NABL-tested vendors.
- TiN / TiAlN PVD coating for high-throughput slitter blades
- Hard-anodising for aluminium sealing-jaw bodies
- Silver plating for RF connector bodies (low insertion loss)
- Gold flash on connector centre pins (low contact resistance)
- Plating outsourced to NABL-tested vendors with batch certificates

RF Testing & QC
VSWR and return-loss testing on calibrated VNA up to 18 GHz. Per-batch test plot supplied on request.
- Calibrated vector network analyser, DC – 18 GHz
- VSWR plot per lot on RF connector orders
- Insertion loss verification on cable assemblies
- Mating cycle test (500 cycles) on flagged batches
